Q.1 Are your employees covered and protected by workman's compensation?
YES. Our employees and clients are confident in knowing that they are
covered by Workman's Compensation and all its' benefits.
Q.2 What kind of insurance coverage do you currently possess?
We are licensed by the City of Ottawa for snow removal with full liability
insurance coverage for $5,000,000.00, so our clients can rest assured that our
company and our customers are protected. Greenstar Landscaping also
maintains a safe, reliable fleet of trucks, tractors, salters and walkway
blowers for snow removal, as well as a wide range of up-to-date equipment for both summer maintenance and construction projects.
Q.3 Are you equipped to service commercial shopping centres in the winter?
YES. We can clear snow and arrange cartage within 24 hrs if necessary.
Q.4 Do you provide year-round contracts?
YES. We offer year-round contracts to our commercial clients.
Q.5 Do you offer tree-pruning and tree-planting services??
YES. Greenstar offers a full spectrum of planting, trimming, pruning, and
removal, plus a guide to tree and shrub fertilizing.
Q.6 Do you offer free estimates and free lawn-design consultations?
YES. Greenstar offers complimentary lawn and garden estimates. We can provide guidance on plant location and design. Upon request, and for a minimal
fee, we can commission our professional designer to produce a full plan to
suit the layout of the property, as well as the client's needs, concerns and
budget.
Q.7 Do you currently service lawn maintenance care for your residential clients?
NO. Currently, Greenstar's focus is only on lawn/garden design and
construction for residential clients.
Q.8 Do you offer snow removal services to individual residential clients?
NO. Greenstar Landscaping restricts snow clearing to condominium and
commercial centres only.
Q.9 Do you offer certain fertilizer application services?
NO. The use of chemicals and pesticides is currently under review by the
City of Ottawa. Greenstar is keeping up to date with several
fertilizer companies that are in the process of developing environmentally
safe fertilizer and pesticide products. In the meantime, we commission this
service from fully licensed professionals who do their utmost to

Q.10 Are you equipped to offer interlock work such as walkways and retaining walls?
YES. We have a wide range of products to suit all types of designs from
walkways and patios to retaining walls. Greenstar has the equipment and
trained personnel to produce a professional finish. Please view our photo
